Dragon boat races have been held in Eglisau for more than 18 years. It is the oldest, annual dragon boat race of Europe. The races in Eglisau have transformed themselves over the years from a local event to a dragon boat festival which attracts national and even international interest and enjoys a prominent position amongst the racing scene. The starting signal resounds at 25./26./27. of June 2010

One week later we will be racing with our dragon boats at the Zürichfestival on the 3rd/4th of july 2010. Every three years the town goes crazy with a party for more than one Million visitors. In the middle of it the dragon boat race on the river Limmat.
